Stefania Fernandez: Miss Universe 2009 Winner
August 23, 2009 – In the event held at Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas, today, Stefania Fernandez from Venezuela was crowned as the Miss Universe 2009 winner.
It was a back to back Miss Universe title for Miss Venezuela and it was also the first time that happened in the history of Miss Universe pageant. 2007 Miss Venezuela and 2008 Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza was so very happy passing her the crown and they were also seen happily embracing each other.
