Katie Taylor finally got her dream come true. She won the Miss New Zealand 2009 title last April 27, 2009 at the Levin Events’ Centre. She will be New Zealand’s representative for the 2009 Miss Universe pageant. This was her second attempt in this national beauty competition. Her first attempt was way back 2007. Though she didn’t get the crown that year, she made it to the top five.

They were even impressed on the way she wore her evening gown.
