Illuminata James – Miss Tanzania Universe 2009
Illuminata James was crowned as Miss Universe Tanzania 2009 on May 30, 2009 which was held at the newly-opened Milmani Conference Center. She will be the country’s pride for the Miss Universe 2009 pageant .
Illuminata is 24 year-old from Mwanza, a city in the southern port of Lake Victoria. She stands 5’9.” Aside from the Miss Tanzania 2009 title she also received Sh3 million, Samsung Omnia mobile phone, cosmetics worth Sh 500, 000 and one-year French course at the Alliance Francaise.
