Estibaliz Pereira – Miss Spain Universe 2009
Estibaliz Pereira Rabade won the Miss Spain 2009 title which was held at Mexico’s coastal city of Cancun on July 19, 2009 and hosted by TV presenter Sandra Barneda and Luis Muñoz, Mister Spain 2007. She is the first Miss Spain who was crowned outside her country. This is to promote tourism in Mexico which declined due to the spread of H1N1 virus.
Estibaliz Pereira Rabade will compete for the Miss Universe 2009 pageant on August 23 and Miss World 2009 pageant on December.
Estibaliz Pereira is a 23 year-old business management student. She is from the UNESCO World Heritage Site -Santiago de Compostela.
