Essi Poysti – Miss Finland Universe 2009
Essi Poysti finally got the crown of her dream when she won Miss Finland 2009 (Miss Suomi 2009) title last March 1, 2009 at Helsinki, Finland. If you will remember, Essi Poysti already joined the contest in the year 2007. She was one of the finalist in that year but didn’t get the chance for the title or runner ups. But right now, her dream is finally on her hands as she go to Bahamas to compete for the 2009 Miss Universe title.

Essi stands 5’8″ tall. She is from Jyvaskyla a municipal city in central Finland.
Essi won via text votes. She got a 22 percentage of overall text votes. It was the first time in Miss Finland beauty pageant history that the winner is voted by the people of Finland. The judges were the one who selected the finalist.
