Donia Hamed was crowned Miss Egypt 2010 held in the largest city of Africa, Cairo, on July 7, 2010. The prestigious coronation night was organized by Xtravaganza Beauty, the official Agency in Egypt for organizing Miss Egypt Beauty pageants owned by Andre Abou-Chaar.
Aside from the crown, Donia took home a total of LE100,000 cash.
Donia is 22 years old Finance student at American University of Sharjah (AUS). Her school is one of the top universities in the Middle East. Like most of the Miss Universe 2010 candidates, she works as a part-time model.
Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization. It is believed that beautiful women during the ancient times were from this country like the famous last Egyptian pharaoh Cleopatra who is known for her exotic and alluring beauty. Donia is said to have inherited such beauty which is unique to the rest of the candidates. Do you think she can take home Egypt’s first ever Miss Universe title?
