Claudia Arce – Miss Bolivia 2009

Miss Chuquisaca Claudia Arce Lemaitre won the Miss Bolivia 2009 title on May held on May 21, 2009 at Teatro Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho in Sucre. ?Miss Universe 2008 titleholder, Dayana Mendoza, and Miss Universe 2008 first runner up Taliana Vargas were among the judges. The said event also marked Gloria Limpias’ 30th anniversary as organizer of the pageant.

Claudia is the first confirmed contestant for the Miss Universe 2010 pageant. Fourth runner-up goes to Señorita La Paz Pamela Chavarria, third-runner-up Señorita Beni Nareth Cuellar, 2nd runner-up Señorita Tarija Astrid Vaca, and the first runner-up Señorita Santa Cruz Veronica Heredia.

Claudia was born on April 4, 1991 in the constitutional capital of Bolivia – Sucre.. She is an industrial engineering student at Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca. She speaks English, German, and Castilian. She loves to write poetry and singing. In fact, she is currently enrolled in opera classes and she was a member of the Bolivian Choral Society and the National Academy of Singing Prior to the coronation night, she won “Miss Photogenic,” “Best Smile,” and “Best Costume” awards.
