We all know that all of the candidates this year deserves to win but there is only one crown. There should only be one winner but it’s really hard to decide which among these lovely candidates will take home the title.

The writers of beautybodybrain.com met yesterday through Skype’s video conferencing to vote for their chosen candidates and predict the winners. Do you want to know who tops on our list? It’s none other than Miss Russia 2010 Irina Antonenko. Other candidates, who we think, would reach the top 15 are as follows:

It is just one day to go before the grand coronation day of Miss Universe 2010 pageant. Eighty-three beautiful women around the world will compete for the Miss Universe crown. Who among these lovely candidates will win the Miss Universe 2010 title? Who will be the first runner-up, second runner-up, third runner-up, and fourth runner-up? Marelisa Gibson Villegas (or Marelisa Gibson), the representative of Miranda, was crowned Miss Venezuela 2009 on September 24, 2009 at the Poliedro de Caracas in Caracas, Venezuela. She was the sixth Miss Miranda to win the Miss Venezuela title. Aside from the Miss Venezuela 2009 title, she also won “Miss Rostro L’BEL” award (Best Face).

The 21 year-old Marelisa was born on August 26, 1988 in Caracas, the capital and largest city of Venezuela., which is located in the northernpart of the country. If you wonder why her beauty is different from other Latina, it is maybe because she has inherited it from her Swedish greatgrandmother. She is studying Architecture at the Universidad Central de Caracas. She speaks English, French, and Spanish.

Expectation for Marelisa to get the Miss Universe 2010 title is high. Venezuela is the second country which got the highest number of Miss Universe title. Venezuela is next to United States with 6 titles. If Marelisa won the Miss Universe 2010 title, then Venezuela will be the first country to get the title in three consecutive years. Even though, the Miss Universe 2010 pageant hasn’t started yet, Marelisa is one of the favorites to win. Her stunning elegant look makes her shine among the rest.

After a series of large-scale preliminary rounds, Irina Antonenko was crowned Miss Russia 2010 held on March 6, 2010 at the Luxury Village Concert Hall in Barvikha, Odintsovsky District of Moscow. She was crowned by Miss Russia 2009 Sofia Rudieva and the 2009 Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez. The grand coronation event was hosted by co-producer and host of the Comedy Club Russia, Garik Martirosyan, and the 2nd place winner in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest, Alsou. Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Russia, Aliona Doletskaya, Russia’s most successful restaurateur, Arkadi Novikov, owner and founder of de Grisogono, Fawaz Gruosi, Honored Artist of Russia, Dmitry Malikov, German fashion designer, Philipp Plein, Russia’s most famous fashion designer, Valentin Yudashkin, and 2009 Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez were the judges of the prestigious Miss Russia 2010 pageant.

Irina received the new Miss Russia crown which the silhouettes is similar to the last crown but it has white hallmark gold, 14 unique pearls, and 2,358 diamonds with a total weight of 62 karats. She also received a whopping $100,000.

The 18 year old Irina was born on September 1, 1991 in the administrative center of Sverdlovsk Oblast – Ekaterinburg, which is situated on the eastern side of the Ural mountain range. She stands 5 ft and 10 in tall. She is currently studying finance at Ural Finance and Law Institute and at the same time she is studying the English language to be able to study in London. She plans to take up a masteral degree after her graduation.

Giuliana Myriam Zevallos Roncagliolo (or Giuliana Zevallos in short) was crowned Miss Peru 2010 at the finale held on May 22, 2010 at Parque de la Amistad in Lima, Peru. The pageant was broadcast live at Panamericana Television. Aside from the Miss Peru 2010 title, she also won “Miss Elegance” award.

The 22 year-old Giuliana was born in Loreto, Peru’s largest and northernmost region. She stands 5 ft 11 in tall. She is a medical student at Universidad Cientifica del Sur specializing in cardiology / endocrinology. When she was young, she wanted to be a singer and a famous star but when her grandmother, Doña María Eudosia, suffered from sickness, she wanted to become a doctor.

During her early years at Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo she said that she’s an ugly duckling. But as years goes by, her true beauty emerges. She has become one of the brightest figures in commercial and advertising catalogs. She previously competed in Miss Peru pageant in 2008 where she placed first runner-up. And as first runner-up in the Miss Peru 2008 pageant, she represented her country in the Miss Earth 2008 pageant. Unfortunately, she didn’t reach the top 15. After two years, she joined the Miss Peru pageant again and this time, she brought home the title. Prior to the Miss Peru 2010 pageant, she participated in Peru Moda 2010 at Fortaleza Real Felipe fair ground held on April 28-April 30.

Johana Maria Belen Benitez Olmedo (or Johana Benitez in short) was crowned Miss Universo Paraguay 2010 at the gala held on July 9, 2010 at Telefuturo’s Main Studio. It was organized by Promociones Gloria and Lamartino Producciones SA. The judges of Miss Universo Paraguay 2010 beauty pageant were: Italian Ambassador Pietro Porcarelli, Armando Rubin, the president of Congress, Oscar Gonzalez Daher, Guggiari Pedro, the sexy Paraguayan athlete who specializes in the javelin throw – Leryn Franco, and Miss Paraguay 2007 Maria Maldonado. Justo Villar, the famous footballer who plays for Real Valladolid as a goalkeeper and plays for Paraguayan national team in the FIFA World Cup 2010, attended the said event.

The 23 year-old Johana (or sometimes spelled Yohana) was born in San Lorenzo, a city located in the Central Department in Paraguay. She stands 5 ft 9 in tall. She is a law student at Universidad Nacional de Asuncion in San Lorenzo, Paraguay. She is also a fashion model who walked the runaway at Asuncion Alta Moda and Asuncion Fashion Week.

Johana will also represent Paraguay in the upcoming Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 to be held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

Paraguay has never won Miss Universe title since it was established in 1952. But this year, it seems that Paraguay has chance of getting their first ever Miss Universe title. Johana seems to be competent enough to reach the top 5 and to win the title. We have seen her photos and she’s really beautiful. Her face truly resembles the face of a Miss Universe titleholder. Anyoli Amorette Abrego Sanjur has been named as “Señorita Panama 2010″ (Miss Panama 2010) held on July 8, 2010 in the Sheraton Hotel in Panama city, Panama. She was crowned by Realmente Bella Señorita Panama 2009, Diana Broce. Honduran journalist, Exidio Zelaya, 1989 Miss Hispanidad Gloria Quintana, and previous juror of the pageant, Miguel Herrera, were the judges.

Anyoli was born on November 16, 1987 in Panama City, Panama. She started her modelling career in 2006 at “Chica Modelo” a model search contest. She won at that competition and gave her a chance to work in a modelling agency, Physical Modelos, where she still works as of now. She also competed in Ford Super Model 2006 in New York. In 2009, she participated in Miss Model of the World 2009 in China and prior to the Miss Universe 2010 pageant, she participated in Miss Pacifico 2010 in Playa Linda, Chiapas, Mexico, where she placed first runner-up.

Anyoli is considered a fighter. A fighter not because she was involved in a fight but a fighter in her own life. His father died because of cancer and right now his mother has breast cancer. She works hard to help her mother and her siblings. Her mother told her not to be worried about her and what she wants is to look after her younger brothers.

Melinda Victoria Rivers was crowned “Froken Norge 2010″ held on June 26, 2010 at the Sole Hotell & Herregaard in Noresund. She is the first woman of African origin who have won the Miss Norway title.

Melinda was born in 1986 in Mauna, Botswana and grew up in the city of Larvic, located in Vestfold county, Norway. Her father is Norwegian while her mother is Motswana. Her father is the famous Hroar Rivers, former speed skater who represented Oslo in European and World Championships.

Melinda loves to dance. As what she said dancing is something she has been doing since she was young. Aside from dancing, she loves modelling.

Melinda likes Spice Girls and Beyonce, her favorite film is “Lion King,” her favorite food is crispy duck, she doesn’t like South Park tv show. She would like to meet U.S. President Barack Obama and like Miss Mauritius 2009 Dalysha Doorga, she is a great fan of former South Africa President Nelson Mandela.

Melinda currently works as a waitress at the Hard Rock Cafe in Oslo and a volunteer in Oslo Krisesenter women’s shelter. She currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in develoment studies and planning to take up a master’s degree in either Development studies or Social work in the near future.

Ria van Dyke, sponsored by Wellington company Econo-Heat, has been named Miss New Zealand 2010 at Duxton Hotel in Wellington on June 5, 2010. Due to a drop in the number of regional franchise holders in recent years, six contestants including Ria, were represented by a sponsor, rather than a region. Aside from the Miss Universe New Zealand 2010 title, Ria also won “Miss Potential Model” and “Miss Charity Queen” awards.

New Zealand-based style and image consultant and fashion editor of Lucire – Samantha Hannah, “Max Factor Make-up Artist Search” winner – Evana Patterson, publisher of Lucire – Jack Yan, Salute Hair director Carl Manderson, and Dina Janse van Rensburg were the judges of Miss Universe New Zealand 2010 pageant.

Ria was born on February 16, 1989 in a beautiful town in the center of the Eastern Bay of Plenty – Kawerau. She is 21 years old and stands 5 ft 8 in tall. She completed Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology with honors at University of Auckland and currently pursuing a Master’s degree.

Miss Universe New Zealand 2010 judges and international photographer Neil Gussey all agreed that Ria is one of the best New Zealand candidates for the Miss Universe pageant.
