Fonthip Watcharatrakul was crowned Miss Thailand Universe 2010 on March 20, 2010 at Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand. She was crowned by Miss Thailand 2009 titleholder, Chutima Durongdej. Pook Look (Fonthip’s nickname) was born on July 19, 1990 in Bang Bo, Samut Prakan Province. She stands 5 ft 7 in tall. She is currently taking up law at Assumption University (AU) in Thailand. Thailand’s representative this year is really beautiful. Though she may look like a school girl, she displays perfect poise in the stage wearing her swimwear and gown. She is very confident in the way she walks and the way she poses in front of the camera. Miss Thailand 2009 winner Chutima Durongdej brought home 2 special awards: “Miss Photogenic” and “Best in National Costume.” Do you think Fonthip will be able to get those 2 titles or can she be able to reach the top 5 in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant? She was born on December This 23 year-old girl received Bachelor degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Nottingham University in 2007 and in 2008 she received a Master’s degree in Business Management in City University, London.

Chutima (whose nickname is Kai Mook), a bright girl who loves meditation, participated in Miss Wimbledon and Miss London pageants during her studies in UK. She won 1st runner up in Miss Wimbledon and 2nd runner up in Miss London pageants. And the most interesting part of her life is when she was included into the top 20 of British reality TV show called Britain’s Next Top Model in the year 2006.

Chutima is ready for her new adventure as she travel to Bahamas to compete for the 2009 Miss Universe pageant on August 23, 2009.
