The Miss Switzerland 2009 pageant has accumulated 220,000 votes (which the majority of the viewers voted for Linda). (The viewer’s votes is 50% and the other 50% were from the judges: Nik Niethammer, Chief Editor of Schweizer Illustrierte, Amanda Ammann, Miss Schweiz 2007, Sascha Ruefer, TV presenter, Christa Rigozzi, Miss Schweiz 2006, and Michel Zendali.)

Linda was born on November 10, 1988 in a municipality in the Wahlkreis of See-Gaster in the canton of St. Gallen in Switzerland – Benken. She stands 5 ft 10 in tall. She previously work as a bank clerk in Benken and a part-time singer in small gatherings and festivals.
