Tania Lim Kim Suan won the Miss Singapore Universe 2010 title at a gala held at Shangri-La Hotel on May 28, 2010.

The 22 year-old Tania was born in the fourth wealthiest country in the world in terms of GDP (PPP) per capita – Singapore. She stands 5 ft 9 in tall. She holds a bachelor degree in mass communication in Murdoch University in Australia and currently works as an account executive.

Tania loves collecting shoes. She likes Aldo, Nine West, Pedro, and Steve Madden brands. When asked about what type of shoes she likes, she said that she likes Gladiator heels. She has a collection of about 300 pairs of shoes from brands such as Nine West and Pedro.

Regarding clothing brands, she likes Forever 21, Etro, and Mango. She said that she’s not really label-conscious when it comes to clothes but when it comes to shoes, she preferred brand named shoes. In fact, after winning the Miss Singapore Universe 2010, she plans to buy a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes which is worth $1800.

Rachel Kum encountered [...]]]> Miss Singapore 2009 is none other than Rachel Kum. The 24 year old brand manager won last May 9, 2009 at Shangri La Hotel. Rachel also won the “Miss Personality” and “Miss Body Beautiful” special awards. If you will remember Rachel was also a finalist in New Paper New Face 2007 contest.

Rachel Kum encountered some controversies after she won the crown last May 2009. In June, her scandal photos were leaked in the internet and this led to some people to call for her dethronement. They said that it was inappropriate and a shame being Singapore’s representative to the Miss Universe pageant 2009.

So what is in the picture? She was tasting the cake with an edible sugar decoration in the shape of a penis, the other one showed her pretending to eat giant costumed phallic woman, and the last one is human size doll kneeling in front of her while she smiles. But Rachel Kum managed to escape and end this controversies. It was just like she’s just having fun with her friends in the party. One of the directors of Derrol Stepenny, Mr Daryl Pang, stated that it is not a big dealand these were just photos taken during some parties people threw for her. Mr. Pang also added that these photos will not affect Rachel’s title. He confirmed that Rachel will still be Singapore’s representative in Miss Universe 2009 pageant. Meanwhile, according to news, Rachel have finally speak up and she said that those photos were not taken this year. The first photo was taken at her birthday party and the other two were taken during Halloween.

Rachel gained supports from notable people like Ms. Sandy Chua and Ms Jaime Teo. Come on people if these photos doesn’t look good to you, just think that it was just made for fun. Think that it’s just the way you enjoy the party with your friends. It’s no big deal!
