 Tara Hoyos-Martinez was chosen among 35 other candidates and was crowned as Miss Great Britain 2010 at a gala held on May 2, 2010 at the ICC in Birmingham. She is the first Hispanic woman to win the Miss Great pageant (her parents are Colombian).
