France’s new face for the Miss Universe 2010 pageant is Malika Menard. Malika won Miss France 2010 title at Nikaia palace in Nice on December 5, 2009.

Malika was born on July 14, 1987 in Rennes located in north-western France. Aside from having beautiful face and body, she is also intelligent. According to plurielles.fr, she obtained her Bachelor ES (serie economique et sociale) with honors. It is not surprising that Malika is intelligent because her father is a kinesiologist and her mother is a dentist. She is a third year law student at University of Caen and she wants to be journalist someday.

Before Malika was crowned Miss France 2010, she was crowned Miss Calvados 2009 titleholder on September 17, 2009. Then, on October 13, she won Miss Normandy 2009 title in Bayeux, Normandy.

Four days after Miss France 2010 pageant, she was featured in magazine Gala issue no. 861. Instead of wearing floor-length gowns or other sexy and elegant dresses, she wore rock stylish outfits and boots with studs on them, assisted by the famous Jean Paul Gaultier. Aside from being featured in Gala, she also appeared in Closer magazine issue no. 243.

According to purepeople.com, French people hope that Malika will get the Miss Universe 2010 title and end the sovereignty of Venezuela.
