The Czech Republic 2010 beauty pageant was held at Thamova Hall in Prague on March 20, 2010.

One of the jury of Czech Republic 2010 beauty pageant was the famous Belgian action star Jean-Claude Van Damme. Van Damme performed some martial arts stunts on the coronation night and presented the award to Veronika Machova as Ceska Miss World (Miss Czech World). Machova was the judges’ choice while Valkova is the viewers’ choice or the candidate who won the highest number of text votes.

Jitka is 18 years old from the regional center in the Moravian part of the Vysocina Region – Trebic. She has no modelling experience but she has a good voice. In fact, Jitka is the vocalist of “Spirit Rock” band and the first ever singing Miss Czech. She took a break from practicing her walk on April 2010 to take lessons from Eduardem Klezlou, the harsh judge of Czech version of Pop Idol series – Cesko hleda SuperStar. According to an interview made by tn.nova.cz, she said that she’ll finish first her studies after the Miss Universe 2010 competition.

Jitka’s outfits for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant were designed by students from selected fashion schools in Czech headed by well-known fashion designer, Jana Berg. One of Jitka’s outfit is the silk chiffon cocktail dress with lace bodice. She will wear the gold sequined silk evening gown with tiny gold beads. The color of the dress is similar to Sharon Stone’s dress in the 2005 movie “Casino.”
