When asked if the world would be better [...]]]> Fourth year student at Faculty of Economics and Business at University of Zagreb, Lana Obad, won Miss Croatia 2010 title on March 27, 2010 at the Great Hall Hypo Centrein Zagreb. Aside from stunning figure and beautiful face, Lana impressed the jury in the Q&A portion. When asked if the world would be better if the government is represented by a woman, she answered the question smoothly and she added that she wanted to engage herself in politics. She is definitely smart and that will be one of her best asset in the Miss Universe 2010 pageant.

Almost all the candidates wants to be a famous supermodel or joined the entertainment industry after the Miss Universe competition except for Lana. According to an interview made by vecernji.hr, Lana really wants to be involved in politics. She loves politics than catwalks. She hopes that someday she’ll be Croatia’s prime minister.

Aside from cash prizes, Lana took home a brand new Chevrolet Spark. Other winners in this year’s Miss Croatia pageant are first runner-up Katarina Martinovic and second runner-up Doris Delic.

Miss Croatia 2010 beauty pageant was a successful event. Aside from the gorgeous ladies who competed for Miss Croatia title, the crowd enjoyed the performances of their local artists. The girl group Feminnemke, Croatian pop singer Lana Jurcevic, Split’s tenor singer Goran Karan, and 2007 Grand Prix winner Jelena Rozga performed on the Miss Croatia 2010 coronation night.

Snjezana Loncarevic passed the Miss Croatia crown to Sarah Cosic (Srah Cosic), Miss Universe Croatia 2009. Sarah is a 20 year-old student of Student at Faculty of Economics in the capital and the largest city of Croatia, Zagreb.

Sarah Cosic stands 5’10″ and from Split. She knows how to dance classical ballet and she loves to read books. She received a marvelous brand new Mitsubishi Colt and cash prize worth 10,000.00 kuna. She don’t have to worry because her car is insured by HOK Zagreb and she has a one year supply of Calvin Klein makeup. She also received a unique golden necklace by ZLATARNA Dodic and a cool LG KC910 Renoir black mobile phone. Sarah will compete for 2009 Miss Universe on August.
