Avalon-Chanel Weyzig – Miss Netherlands Universe 2009
Avalon-Chanel Weyzig is a 19 year-old half-Indonesian who won the 2009 Miss Netherlands (Miss Universe Nederlands) last June 27, 2009. She will be country’s representative for the upcoming 2009 Miss Universe pageant which will be held in Bahamas. The 2009 Miss Netherlands pageant was organized by 2002 Miss Universe Netherlands, Kim Kotter.
Avalon-Chanel Weyzig was born on April 2, 1990 in Zwolle. She can speak English and she is fluent in Spanish language because she have lived in Barcelona, Spain for almost a year. She never thought of becoming a beauty queen. One day, she just saw the ads in the newspaper where they were looking for beautiful ladies for the upcoming 2009 Miss Nederlands pageant. She just tried her luck and it was an awesome experience for her.
Avalon-Chanel favorite phrase is “El Mundo es Mio.” It is Spanish phrase which means “the world is mine.”
